These include both homes and the underlying land development as well as commercial properties including both garden and mid-rise apartments, office buildings, retail and mixed-use-land developments.
He has specialized in the development of waterfront communities having built more waterfront lots in the Clear Lake area of Houston than any other developer. Further, Joe Watson builds gated, mid-size residential communities that always feature private lakes designed for active waterfront living.

Making frequent expeditions to Nepal, India, Tukey, and worldwide, Joe Watson is an executive member of the board of Dooley Intermed and currently involved developing a second Eco Home for Orphaned Children, among other expedition planning responsibilities.
He is a competitive aerobatic pilot of powered aircraft and glider pilot. He competes in racquetball and races sailboats with the greatest success in off-shore long distance regattas. He is also a Master Diver with cave exploration training.
Other activities include the archeological study of Mediterranean history, opera, cycling, underwater scuba photography, and a passion for international field photography specializing in indigenous people.
